Telugu superstar Jr NTR was spotted in Mumbai today. He is here to kick off the next schedule of the highly anticipated action thriller War 2. He and Hrithik Roshan will be shooting for a song. Well, the actor’s arrival in the city has sparked excitement among fans, not just for the ongoing shoot, but also due to strong hints that he has begun prepping for his next.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Jr NTR shared a video in which he is seen exiting Mumbai airport with his family. His wife and son are seen. He greeted paps with a smile. However, at the airport, Jr NTR also sparked buzz about his next film. He was seen holding a copy of Muruga -The Lord of War, The God of Wisdom, authored by Anand Balasubramanian. It is being assumed that he has begun preparation for his upcoming mythological project with director Trivikram Srinivas. The film is centered around Lord Kumara Swamy, also known as Lord Kartikeya or Subrahmanya Swamy. Known for his commitment and depth in roles, Jr NTR seems to be diving into the character by reading and learning more about the deity. Well, nothing has been made official.

Coming to War 2,the
makers today released new posters. Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani are all set for action, as seen in their first-look posters from War 2. Their posters were released separately, likely from key action sequences in the film. Kiara, who appeared in the War 2 teaser in a bikini, was seen holding a gun in her new look. She will be seen in an out-and-out action mode in her upcoming release. Her poster comes just weeks after her viral bikini look from the War 2 teaser.
The makers of War 2, YRF, have just unveiled the posters of the lead cast, including Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani. The trio commanded attention from the word ‘go’ in the newly-released posters, as the 50-day countdown to the film begins.
War 2, which six years after its first installment in 2019, is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Talking about the mounting expectations from the film, he said, “It is a huge responsibility to take forward a hugely loved franchise like War and leave your own mark on it. I saw directing War 2 as a relishing opportunity to give a hat-tip to the first film. You can’t have fun otherwise while coming on board such a huge blockbuster franchise.”
The filmmaker also shared that War 2 has been created after a lot of planning to elevate audience’s theatrical experience. “The maximum time spent was on the action set pieces and crafting the storyline and the conflict which was needed to mount the face-off between Hrithik Roshan and NTR,” he stated.
