Food experiments are very popular online. Social media is flooded with videos from diverse creators displaying new combinations, uncommon ingredients, and unique cooking procedures. Interestingly, many popular foods have been the subject of novel experiments. Several cooks have attempted to make unique dessert combinations. This new recipe is called Saag Milkshake! Yes, you read that right! A classic milkshake with a twist of green leafy veggies.
Digital creator Pushpek Sidhu shared a reel of his reaction to Saag Milkshake, which is served at a foreign restaurant. The video starts with a voiceover questioning, “Have you tried our brand new Saag Milkshake?” The video then goes on to explain how the restaurant uses a generous scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream and adds pure organic, hand-stirred saag to make the milkshake. After transferring this into a glass, the milkshake is then topped with fresh whipped cream and topped with some chopped coriander. Like many, even the creator was shocked and said, “Saag?! Have you lost your dimaag?!”
People online were unimpressed with this mix of saag and milkshake. A user stated,” Someone please stop the planet. I want to get off,” while another person said, “This gotta be an April Fools joke right? A person joked saying, “Matcha crying in the corner.”
Many went on to predict some more weird combinations they might see. “Coming soon, Bhindi Pie,” wrote one. Another person mentioned, “This is a war crime literally” A user went to the extent of saying, “After watching this I can certify that the person who made this recipe needs therapy.”
An individual quipped, “Wasn’t reading the first captions and I was wondering why he was getting mad at pistachio shake?”
Many were curious to see how the milkshake would come out because the saag used was not the salted variety we generally use to prepare the winter must-have. “I mean, like people drink green smoothies they can’t be that different,” said one user.
