Aamir Khan is pulling out all stops ahead of his much-anticipated comeback film Sitaare Zameen Par, which is set to release on June 20, 2025. On Monday evening, the superstar was seen arriving at the Excel Entertainment office in Mumbai with his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, sparking speculation about a special screening held exclusively for her.
In a video shared by Viral Bhayani on Instagram, Aamir and Gauri were seen stepping out of their car. Gauri kept it stylish in a white tee and black pants, while Aamir opted for a designer kurta and balloon pants. The actor greeted the paparazzi with his signature Namaste pose before heading inside.
Shortly after, Genelia D’Souza, who stars alongside Aamir in the film, was also spotted outside the Excel premises. She looked stunning in a white hoodie and matching shorts, flashing her warm smile to the cameras.
Reports suggest that this outing was part of preparations for a grand premiere event for Sitaare Zameen Par, which will be held on June 19 at a PVR Inox multiplex. According to Bollywood Hungama, the screening will be attended by several Bollywood stars, including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, who are expected to join Aamir in support of his return to the silver screen.
A source was quoted saying, “Aamir Khan will be present along with Genelia Deshmukh and the rest of the star cast. If all goes well, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan will attend as well. Other prominent stars from the industry will also be present, making this one of the year’s biggest film events.”
Directed by RS Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par is touted as a spiritual sequel to the 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par. The upcoming film shifts the focus to the journey and dreams of 10 neurodivergent children, continuing the legacy of emotionally resonant storytelling. The film marks Aamir’s first theatrical release in three years.
