
The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has introduced a new Blended Master of Business Administration (bMBA) programme aimed at working professionals and entrepreneurs. The two-year programme is designed to provide management education through a combination of online and on-campus learning, allowing participants to balance academic pursuits with professional commitments. Eligible candidates can register themselves on the official website at iiml.ac.in/programmes/bmba.
The bMBA is structured across six terms. The first year will include foundational core courses, while the second year will offer electives across domains such as Strategy, Finance, Marketing, IT Systems, Operations and Supply Chain Management, and Human Resources. These electives are aligned with IIM Lucknow’s flagship post-graduate programme. A Capstone project is also included in the curriculum to offer real-world application of the concepts taught.
Important dates and application process
Applications for the programme will open on July 11, 2025, and close on August 18, 2025. Online interviews for shortlisted candidates are scheduled between September 1 and 3, 2025. The programme is set to commence on September 25, 2025.

According to its notice, the learning model includes virtual live sessions with periodic on-campus modules. These in-person sessions will be held at IIM Lucknow’s campus and will offer participants exposure to interactive lectures, software-based exercises, and group-based learning methods.
Who is eligible to apply?
Applicants must have a minimum of three years of full-time work experience after graduation and be at least 24 years old. A minimum of 15 years of formal education and a 50% aggregate score in graduation (or equivalent CGPA) are required.
In addition to graduates, professionals with qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), Cost and Management Accountant (ICWA/CMA), or foreign degree equivalents recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) are also eligible.

The bMBA aims to develop leadership, strategic thinking, and digital fluency among professionals. It also focuses on hands-on learning through tools, technologies, and practical business frameworks, ensuring relevance to contemporary business environments.
