BTS’ V, aka Kim Taehyung, has officially become the only brand ambassador of the French luxury house Celine to ever appear on their official YouTube channel. On July 10, the label dropped a wild 51-second clip featuring him in a custom Michael Rider crop jacket, and within minutes, his photoshoots on the cobbled streets were everywhere. Now, major fashion watchdogs are piling on the praise, hailing the 29-year-old as the ‘King of Fashion’ among everyone present at fashion week. Fans can’t get over how the headlines keep getting more poetic with every move V makes. Earlier, Anna Wintour, the former Vogue Editor-in-Chief, invited V to the Vogue World Hollywood event, set to take place in October this year.
BTS V says he wants to live a Parsian life
In a new video doing the rounds online, the BTS star is seen greeting the cameras, shouting “Bonjour Paris!” from the window before adding, “I want to live like Parisians, I’m so in love with this city,” and then spinning around to show off his custom-made outfit, giving fans a glimpse into his Fashion Week tour. Soon after, clips from his photoshoot went viral, posing with a bicycle, strolling the streets, and even taking the front row at the shows. In one of them, the Winter Bear crooner is spotted chatting with Jonathan Anderson, creative director of Christian Dior for 2025. The video, posted by Vogue Business’s Paris correspondent Laure Guilbault, captures Anderson asking V whether the band is going on tour. The singer nodded and said, “Yes, next year.” Anderson replied, “Next year I’m coming to Korea. I’d love to come, I’ve never been to Korea.” V smiled and responded, “Yes, please come.”

French fashion watchdogs call Kim Taehyung ‘King of Fashion’
Taehyung, for now, seems to have officially taken over the French fashion scene, with major fashion publications writing about the quirks he brings to his looks, whether it’s using a silk-cashmere scarf as a belt or sprinting straight from his hotel door to the car, unintentionally serving some of the most iconic street-style moments. From leaving for Incheon airport in Chelsea boots, a white tee, and denim, to back-to-back headlines for a grey jacket with a bohemian print, gold buttons, and pieces from the brand’s jewelry line, paired with his new piercing, the demand on the official site has shot up, with fans waiting for the drop. On a stroll to the Eiffel Tower, he clipped the scarf to a belt loop on his jeans and threw on a leather jacket. At the CELINE afterparty, he kept it classy in beige pants, a clean suit look, and tinted frames. Vanity Fair wrote, “Taehyung is the King of Fashion who knows, The devil is in the details,” while Vogue France added, “Naomi Watts may have caused a sensation, but it was V, one of the members of BTS, who stole all the attention.”

“Paris just can’t get enough of Kim Taehyung,” a fan wrote. Another added, “Taehyung feels so relaxed and free in Paris, and the city seems to have fallen in love with him.” A third chimed in, “I just can’t stop reading these poetic headlines.” A fourth added, “The French and Korean media are back to heaping poetic praises on the singer.”
