Aamir Khan and Samay Raina recently sat down for a chess match. Guess who won? The Bollywood superstar. On Tuesday, Samay Raina took to his Instagram handle and dropped a video in which he was seen spending time with Aamir Khan and playing a game of chess. During the game, Aamir told Samay that he was making a wrong move and said, “Gadbad kardi tune mere dost”.
Later, Aamir defeated Samay and left everyone surprised. However, to cheer up the comedian, the actor joked, “Aamir Khan se haara hai yaar, khush hona chahiye tereko.” Samay also reacted to it and taunted the Bollywood superstar by reminding him of his Laal Singh Chadha debacle. “Koi nahi sir, kabhi kabhi Laal Singh Chadha bhi ho sakta hai,” he said. This left Aamir go ROFL. Watch the video here:
Aamir Khan’s collaboration with Samay Raina comes at a time when he is promoting his recently released movie, Sitaare Zameen Par. Made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, the film stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in lead roles, along with 10 rising stars. Directed by R. S. Prasanna, the film released in theatres on June 20th and received positive reviews from all. It has earned over Rs 130 crore as of now.
On the other hand, landed in a big controversy earlier this year due to his show, India’s Got Latent. The comedian faced a massive backlash after an episode of the show grabbed everyone’s attention in which YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia posed an offensive question to a contestant: “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?” It triggered massive backlash online and led to multiple FIRs against Samay, Ranveer and the show’s makers.
Following the controversy, Samay issued an apology and even deleted all of India’s Got Latent episodes from YouTube. He is, however, now all set to make a comeback. The comedian is currently on an international tour across Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
