Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan play each other’s love interests in Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino. The duo have been touring the country as a part of the film’s promotions, with their latest stop being Kolkata. After relishing authentic Bengali cuisine at former cricketer Sourav Ganguly’s house, the duo stopped for some photos together. One of their cosy pictures reminded fans of Aditya’s crackling chemistry with his rumoured ex-girlfriend, Shraddha Kapoor.
Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur sat atop Kolkata’s signature yellow taxi ahead of Metro… In Dino release. In the photo, Sara held Aditya close to her, resting her head on his shoulders. Taking to the comment box, netizens lauded Sara and Aditya’s chemistry. They posted comments such as “So beautiful ….So elegant….Just looking like a woaw!!”, “New love birds”, “Great Jodi”. Eagle-eyed fans commented on how tight Sara’s heels looked: “Your sandals look so tight sara”, “How they manage to wear this kind of shoes?? It’s not even fitted properly.” Other fans missed Aditya with Shraddha. “Shraddha and him always,” they penned. For the unversed, the duo made their breakthrough in Bollywood with 2013 film, Aashiqui 2, and dated briefly before calling it quits shortly after.
At the trailer launch of Metro…In Dino, Aditya Roy Kapur was asked red and green flags. He replied, “Red flag could be…someone who have prison record that might go existence. These are the red flags… no yaar…I think green flags are just someone is kind. Someone kindness I guess it is important thing. Because I think if you are with someone for a long period of time and end up being in all kind of situations inheritably kind that definitely a green flag. And a red flag as sir says if it all landed in your suitcases then it might be a problem.”
Yet another question was asked regarding the term ‘situationship’ which came as surprise for Aditya and Sara. Aditya replied, “I didn’t even understand term ki meaning kya hai. So, I guess am an old school in that”. Sara chipped in, stating, “I also believe the same way. I don’t really believe in situationship.”
