The Ernakulam Town North police have registered two cases in the wake of a scuffle at a DJ party that was held at a bar hotel on Saturday midnight in which a person from Thodupuzha suffered injuries on his face after a woman attacked him using a wine glass.
While the woman from Udayamperoor was charged with attempted murder for attacking the man with a wine glass, the injured person has been charged with sexual misconduct, based on the woman’s complaint.
Both of them had arrived to attend the DJ party. While the injured man claimed that the woman attacked him without provocation, the woman said she was enraged at him for misbehaving with her multiple times during the event. The attack on him led to a deep cut behind his ear, which required four stitches, the police said.
