The International Federation for Relief and Development (IFRD) is a coalition of 10 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from various countries, and is currently headquartered in Malaysia. IFRD was established as a platform to coordinate humanitarian aid, disaster management, and welfare assistance to international communities in need.
The coalition is led by the Amal Foundation of Malaysia (AFM) and comprises NGOs from Sudan, India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Türkiye, Bangladesh, and Egypt. Since 2014, IFRD has been actively coordinating humanitarian assistance to Muslims in Arakan (Myanmar), Gaza (Palestine), Syria, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Türkiye, the Philippines, as well as several other Muslim countries in need.
