Arbaaz Khan Confirms Wife Sshura Khan Is Pregnant
Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan has officially confirmed that he and his wife Sshura Khan are expecting their first child together. The 57-year-old actor shared the joyous news in a recent interview, expressing excitement and happiness. The couple got married in an intimate ceremony in December 2023. Arbaaz Khan is already a father to Arhaan Khan.
In conversation with Delhi Times, Arbaaz Khan confirmed the pregnancy news and said, “Yes, it is there. I’m not denying that information because right now it’s something that is out there, my family knows about it. People have got to know about it, and it’s fine. It’s pretty evident also. It’s a very exciting time in both our lives. We are happy and excited. We’re going to welcome this new life in our life.”
When asked about if he is nervous to become father once again. “Everybody tends to be nervous. Any person would feel (the nerves); I’m also getting into fatherhood now after some time. It’s a fresh new feeling for me all over again. I’m excited. I’m happy and I’m looking forward. It’s just giving me a new sense of happiness or responsibility. I’m kind of liking that,” he added.
Recently, a video of Arbaaz Khan and his wife Sshura Khan were spotted in the city and the couple visibly seen blushing as paparazzi congratulated them. The duo were spotted together posing for the cameras when the paps began offering them good wishes, seemingly hinting at an impending arrival.
In the clip doing rounds on social media, Arbaaz and Sshura exchanged shy glances and smiles after hearing the paps’ congratulatory remarks. Arbaaz, trying to play it down, gently urged the photographers not to bring up the topic. He implied that he’d prefer not to speak about the matter until there’s something concrete to share. His comment made it clear that the couple was not yet ready to go public with any baby-related news.
As the couple was about to leave the venue and head to their car, one photographer was heard saying, “Jaane do.” Arbaaz, picking up on the comment, quipped back with a smile, “Aap log bhi jaane do,” perhaps referring to the ongoing buzz and speculation online. He also added, “Kabhi kabhi samjha karo,” a light-hearted way to signal the need for boundaries around personal matters.
Arbaaz was previously married to Malaika Arora, with whom he shares a 22-year-old son, Arhaan Khan. They divorced in 2017 after 19 years of marriage and continue to co-parent.
