As Saiyaara continues to charm audiences and break records, Karan Johar has joined the long list of Bollywood celebrities praising the film — but his reaction is one of the most emotional yet. The filmmaker revealed that the film moved him to tears, not just for its story but for what it represents: the return of epic love stories to the big screen. He expressed deep pride in the team behind the film — including producer Akshai Widhani, director Mohit Suri, and the cast — while showering love on debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda for their stirring performances. Karan took to Instagram to share a heartfelt and glowing review of the film and its team.

Ajith Kumar, known as much for his love of motorsports as for his blockbuster films, was involved in a crash during the GT4 European Series at Italy’s Misano World Circuit. The actor-racer, who was participating in the second round of the championship, escaped the incident unharmed. However, he had to retire from the race following the mishap.

Shilpa Shirodkar was once rumoured to have died during the shoot of Raghuveer. The 1995 film starred Suniel Shetty as the titular hero, alongside Shilpa Shirodkar, Suresh Oberoi, Sudha Chandran, Mohnish Bahl, Aruna Irani, Gulshan Grover, and Prem Chopra. During the film’s shoot, a rumour was circulated that Shilpa had been shot dead. This created panic at the actress’s house. However, she was later told by the makers that it was a promotional activity for the film.

Farah Khan’s cook Dilip needs no introduction. With the filmmaker-choreographer’s YouTube vlogs and cooking videos, Dilip has become a household name and enjoys good popularity now. In a recent vlog, Farah Khan revealed that since their show has been working well on YouTube, she has shifted Dilip’s kids to an English-medium school. One of Dilip’s kids is also in culinary school, in training to be a chef.

Ajay Devgn is all set to return as Jassi in Son Of Sardaar 2, this time featuring Mrunal Thakur instead of Sonakshi Sinha. The film, which was previously scheduled for release on July 25, will now be released on August 1. Owing to the new release date, the film is slated to clash with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri’s Dhadak 2 at the box office.
