A complaint has been filed against actor Vijay Deverakonda under the SC/ST Act for allegedly making remarks that hurt the sentiments of the tribal community, reports ANI. The complaint was filed by Nenavath Ashok Kumar Naik, the State President of the Joint Action Committee of Tribal Communities, alleging that Vijay Deverakonda made offensive remarks against the tribal community during a pre-release event for the film Retro. The case has been registered at Raidurgam Police Station in Cyberabad, and an investigation is currently underway.

Indian-origin rapper Genesis Yasmine Mohanraj, better known as Tommy Genesis, is facing major backlash after her latest music video True Blue went viral. In the video, she is seen dressed like a Hindu goddess with blue body paint, gold jewellery, and a red bindi, while also using a Christian cross as a prop in ways many found disrespectful. One moment in the video shows her licking the cross and posing with it near her backside. The visuals upset people from both Hindu and Christian communities, who called it “blasphemy” and accused her of being disrespectful just to gain attention. Some even called it a “cheap stunt” to go viral.

Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor attended the prayer meet of her ex-husband Sunjay Kapur, held today at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi.
