Shefali Jariwala passed away at 41 due to a sudden cardiac arrest. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Shefali Jariwala passed away last night.
Shefali Jariwala, who rose to fame with the iconic music video Kaanta Laga in the early 2000s, passed away at the age of 41. As per initial reports, the actor suffered a sudden cardiac arrest late Thursday night, between June 27 and 28. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai by Parag Tyagi and three close aides. Tragically, doctors declared her brought dead upon arrival.
Her family was seen asking the media for privacy outside their home. In a video shared online, her relatives were visibly upset and told photographers, “We do not want any photos.”

Hours after the sudden demise of actress and Bigg Boss fame Shefali Jariwala, her husband Parag Tyagi was spotted in public for the first time, looking visibly shattered. He was seen stepping out with their pet dog, Simba, in Mumbai. A video of the moment went viral.
In the video, it also appeared that Parag is holding Shefali’s photo. We could spot police vans outside their venue.

The exact cause of death is currently unknown. There has been no official statement yet from the family or her representatives.
Shefali Jariwala was taken to Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital by her husband, Parag Tyagi, where she was pronounced dead on arrival. While initial reports claimed that the actress died of cardiac arrest at 42, Mumbai police have now stated that Shefali was found dead in her Mumbai apartment.
