Known as the richest temple in the world, the Padmanabhaswamy Temple holds wealth estimated at Rs 1.2 lakh crore. Its vast collection includes gold jewellery, diamonds, antique silver, and emeralds. In 2015, the discovery of a hidden vault added even more to its already massive treasure.
Guruvayur Devaswom, Guruvayur in Kerala
Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, this ancient temple is known for its significant riches. It has bank deposits reportedly worth Rs 1,737.04 crore and owns 271.05 acres of land. The temple also holds a large collection of gold, silver, and precious stones.
