Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding was indeed a grand affair, bringing the world’s attention to the Venetian extravaganza. The three-day celebrations went a notch higher with the presence of about 200 celebrity guests, including the likes of Bill Gates, the Kardashian-Jenner family, Oprah Winfrey, and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Among them was Indian-American entrepreneur Mona Patel, who indeed made a splash with her attendance.
Known for consistently impressing her followers since her Met Gala debut, Mona was seen rocking two stunning ensembles at Bezos and Sanchez’s wedding celebrations. For the pre-wedding bash, Mona went for a lacy wine gown from the shelves of Dolce & Gabbana, which beautifully accentuated her look. On the other hand, her look on the wedding day included a princess touch, which came with a dreamy Georges Hobeika gown.

Who Is Mona Patel?
Born in Gujarat’s Vadodara, Mona Patel began her journey by going to the United States for higher education at Rutgers University. Later, she came back to India to complete her undergraduate studies, before finally moving to Dallas, Texas, at 22.
Over the years, Patel has built her business empire, founding eight companies across various sectors, including healthcare, technology, and real estate, with its valuation now standing at $100 million.
“My varied expertise has provided me with the unique ability to integrate multiple industries to create strategies for success. I can easily navigate between being an abstract thinker with a maker’s mindset to an operationally-driven CEO, which allows me to see things others may miss,” she said.
Having achieved tremendous success in her professional career, Patel switched her focus towards philanthropy, which she believed was essential to not forget her struggles and also to help others climb up. She founded her own NGO, Couture for Cause, and worked towards the empowerment of girls and women. “I’m dedicated to fighting for gender equality and continuing to work to give girls and women the platform to realize their highest potential,” Mona Patel says.
With that said, while Mona Patel turned heads with her appearance at the “wedding of the year,” she was not the only Indian personality. Socialite Natasha Poonawalla, a close friend of Lauren Sanchez, was also a part of the wedding celebrations.
