The netizens were left in a furious state after a video of corporate employees dancing at an office to welcome a foreign client went viral on social media.
A group of employees – both men and women – were seen grooving to Arijit Singh’s song ‘Main Tera Boyfriend’ – as they invited the client, who stood at a distance, to shake his legs too.
The video was originally shared by a user on Reddit with the title: “India should stop chaprification of corporate offices. Such showcasing will only make other countries feel Indian offices are casual and not worthy of serious work.”
In the video, the employees were seen dancing, and their colleagues were heard chilling out loudly over their moves. The foreign client was seen keeping a distance and only enjoying the theatrics with a smile on his face.
Fiery Debate Breaks Out Online
As the video went viral, netizens shared their opinions – some lauded the gesture as a display of Indian hospitality, while others described the dance as “super cringe” and a breach of professional boundaries in the office.

“There are companies who promote this as Work Life Balance.. I prefer not to work at such companies,” a user commented.
“In my previous co, management used to give preference or points in appraisal/promotion to people who took part in these acts during visit by clients,” another user wrote, sharing his experience.
“Kitni Khushi se office aaya tha…. Was sipping my coffee and I opened this. My entire day is ruined now,” a user said.
“Itni khushi wali kaunsi baat ho gayi ? Why they are so effing happy seeing the client? Don’t they know they are getting paid in peanuts as compared to their client’s country?” a netizen wrote, as he seemed to give a reality-check to the employees.
“This looks so so unprofessional,” another person said.
“This is so embarrassing. How are they so happy and excited? What a cringe crowd,” another individual said.
“This is super cringe. Super, super cringe. And these women or girls, or whatever… oh god. I hope they find some honor, some self-respect. Stop treating Europeans as gods. However, they must first start thinking more positively about themselves,” a user wrote on X.
